The Big announcement this year is in honor of our beloved teacher. We are proud to announce to the capoeira community that this summer Contra-Mestre Jo will be promoted to Mestre. This is a historic and proud turn of events for us and I would like to congratulate her on this ground breaking honor. Contra-Mestre Jo has devoted her life to the preservation and future development of capoeira at home and abroad. She is humble and completely passionate about her life and the over-all path of capoeira as a whole and we are encouraged by her acheivement. Now she embarks upon a new path and we are proud to be apart of that journey. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
Mestre Falcao has also announced his 50th anniversary celebration in capoeira which will be taking place this summer in Salvador Bahia. We would like to say to Mestre Falcao, Thank You for your support and teachings and Congratulations on your 50th Anniversary!!!!!
Training with C.Mestre Jo in Hong Kong 2010!!! I am planning to travel to Hong Kong again this year to train with C.Mestre Jo. I am asking all of my students in Maryland and North Carolina to start planning for this big trip. I'll need everyones names if you plan on going this November.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!! C.MESTRE JO WILL BE RETURNING TO THE UNITED STATES THIS YEAR FOR OUR BATIZADO IN DECEMBER 2010!!! If you are interested in attending our Batizado please let us know via email so that we can get the invites out.
