CENTRO CULTURAL EQUIPE JO CAPOEIRA
Equipe Jo Capoeira was established with the objective of promoting the art and culture of capoeira and supporting other female capoeiristas. C.Mestre Jo created the group on December 18th, 2005, in the city of Juazeiro-Bahia, her home town. Since its creation, the group now operates in the United States, Brazil, Spain, Japan and Hong Kong. The four patrons of the group, who support and work with Equipe Jo Capoeira, are Mestre Falcao (Salvador, Bahia), Mestre Jelon (New York), Mestre Pequines (Goiania), and Mestre Igor (Brasilia).
